Job Description - Act as a key bridge between business needs and technical implementation.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Identify areas for system enhancement and define solutions to uplift workflow efficiency.
- Design or modify core insurance systems, mobile solutions, data platforms, and vendor tools.
- Review vendor proposals, technical documents, contracts, and statements of work.
- Validate API specifications and coordinate architecture reviews with the governance board.
- Oversee system cutovers, migration activities, and production deployments.
- Deliver user training to support adoption during and after system rollout.
- Provide ongoing advisory support and resolve post-implementation issues.
- Use system data to generate insights that support strategic project decisions.
The Successful Applicant - Strong technical background in insurance system implementation and support.
- 10+ years' experience in financial institutions or insurance environments.
- Proven track record in system analysis, development, and system rollout.
- Understanding of life insurance operations, particularly new business processes.
- Hands-on skills in Java and React development.
- Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, or MySQL databases.
- Familiar with Azure cloud, APIM, and AI-related technologies.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
