Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fund Accounting & Reporting
    • Prepare and review daily, monthly, and quarterly NAV calculations for ORSO funds.
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with HKFRS and regulatory guidelines.
    • Monitor and reconcile cash, positions, and transactions across multiple accounts.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Audit
    • Ensure compliance with ORSO scheme regulations and trustee requirements.
    • Liaise with external auditors and trustees for annual audits and regulatory filings.
    • Maintain proper documentation and internal controls for fund operations.
  • Operational Oversight
    • Supervise junior team members and provide guidance on fund accounting processes.
    • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and expense accruals.
    • Coordinate with custodians, investment managers, and other stakeholders for operational matters.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
    • Assist in system upgrades and automation projects related to fund accounting.
The Successful Applicant

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Professional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, CFA) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fund accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of ORSO fund regulations and HKFRS.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and fund accounting systems (e.g., Geneva, Investran).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
