Job Description As a Tester/Quality Assurance, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing test cases to validate system functionality and performance.
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting software defects or inconsistencies.
- Collaborating with developers and project managers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensuring adherence to testing standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conducting regression testing to verify fixes and updates.
- Providing detailed test reports to stakeholders for review.
- Contributing to the improvement of testing processes and tools.
- Supporting user acceptance testing by providing guidance and assistance.
The Successful Applicant A successful Tester/Quality Assurance should have:
- A strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
- Experience in identifying and troubleshooting software defects.
- Familiarity with testing tools and automation frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of the Financial Services industry is an advantage.
- Adaptability to work in a temporary role based in Hong Kong.
