Job Description - Provide real-time support for trading applications, market data feeds, and order management systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networks, and trading platforms.
- Act as the first point of contact for traders and front-office staff for IT-related issues.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement fixes and enhancements.
- Maintain and update support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
The Successful Applicant - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a trade floor or financial services support role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix, Windows, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with trading systems, FIX protocol, and market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, ITRS Geneos, Nagios) is a plus.
