Your new role

    • Lead the bank's regulatory compliance program, ensuring full adherence to Hong Kong banking regulations and relevant U.S. standards.
    • Manage regulatory relationships with HKMA and other authorities, handling inspections, responses, and ongoing communication.
    • Review and enhance compliance policies, procedures, monitoring frameworks, and thematic testing.
    • Advise senior management and business units on regulatory changes, cross‑border requirements, and enterprise compliance governance.
    • Drive compliance culture development, training programs, and transformation initiatives.
    • Supervise compliance teams, providing leadership, coaching, and performance oversight.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment compliance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to investment and corporate compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior management and across different business units.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CAMS, or similar are a plus.
