Were looking foran experienced Risk Technology Consultant to join our client, a global investment bank, in Hong Kong. Youll work with traders, risk teams, and quantitative analysts to build a global risk technology platform that handles market risk and counterparty credit risk. Youll help design reliable, scalable, and high‑performance systems that enable real‑time risk monitoring, ensure regulatory compliance, and support data‑driven decision making.
Looking for:
- 5+ years of project or product management experience in financial technology.
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle , agile methods, and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience delivering large-scale software applications, preferably in financial risk systems.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
You will:
- Work with risk managers, quants, traders, and tech teams to build and deliver risk solutions.
- Keep systems secure, scalable, and fast, protecting sensitive financial data.
- Help deliver projects that meet regulatory requirements.
- Manage technical debt, prioritize the backlog, and ensure features are delivered on time.
- Drive adoption of risk tools across the Asia region.
- Promote modern engineering: CI/CD, test automation, and cloud-native stacks (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes, Airflow, Snowflake).
Preferred Candidates to have:
- Solid experience in financial services, especially market risk, counterparty credit risk, or risk analytics.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Prior experience working at a global financial services firm.
