Business Function Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.
Responsibilities - To perform insightful analysis / review in supporting sound credit strategy formulation / decision-making on a proactive and dynamic approach, including but not limited to acquisition and portfolio management journeys
- Support regular data extraction as well as tasks prioritization to ensure every single task is completed on a timely and accurate basis.
- To leverage analytics from internal / external data such as credit bureau data / MEV data to facilitate the formulation and setting of credit strategies and portfolio actions across various business sectors
- Enhance existing risk governance framework such as improving quality assurance framework as well as performance policy governance and monitoring critical trigger
- To perform ad-hoc analysis as required from time to time
Requirements - Bachelor Degree or above major in Statistics / Finance / Business Administration / Data Analytics
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Consumer Banking or credit risk management
- Good product knowledge in consumer lending product.
- Knowledge in statistics and proficiency in programming language such as Python, SAS and visualization tool such as Qlikview / Qliksense is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
- A team player to work with other credit units / other departments in result delivery
- Good command in both written and spoken English
- Good interpersonal skills
