A large, reputable Corporate Bank with an established presence in Asia is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to take on the role ofHead of Management Reporting . This is a senior leadership position with full responsibility for driving the banks management reporting function and shaping financial insights at the enterprise level.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the management reporting team (
- Own and oversee the banks Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework — including daily calculations, rate curve maintenance, product/business unit allocations, and profitability analysis.
- Deliver strategic insights through monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, providing clear analysis of business unit performance, product/customer profitability, and cost allocation.
- Drive financial planning processes including budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and provide actionable recommendations directly to senior management and the Board.
- Shape policy and collaboration with Treasury, Risk, and business lines to optimize FTP methodologies, reporting processes, and data integrity.
- Champion innovation by leading key projects such as reporting automation, system enhancements, and regulatory change implementation.
- Represent the function externally and internally, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and regulatory expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or above (Finance, Accounting, Economics or related); CPA/ACCA/CFA/FRM or equivalent strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of banking experience in management reporting, FP&A, or financial control, with proven success in senior leadership roles.
- At least 5 years of experience managing finance professionals, with demonstrated ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Deep expertise in Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) methodology and implementation within commercial banking.
- Strong knowledge of banking P&L drivers, budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, and cost allocation.
- Exceptional communication skills in English (written & spoken) and fluent Mandarin (essential for head office interaction).
