Senior Full Stack Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Full Stack Developer located in Hong Kong. As a member of our technology team, you will be instrumental in building the next generation of impact finance.

The Senior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for:

1. Integrating complex, third-party REST APIs, including robust handling of authentication, error states, and data synchronization.
2. Developing secure backend services and serverless functions to handle transaction management and policy enforcement.
3. Implementing security protocols for managing user credentials and sensitive data, using services like AWS Secrets Manager.
4. Deploying and managing scalable application infrastructure on AWS.
5. Developing high-quality, responsive front-end and back-end applications.
6. Collaborating with product managers and designers to define technical requirements and deliver a seamless user experience.
7. Mentoring junior developers by performing constructive code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
8. Documenting implemented logic and enhancing the documentation of our current architecture.

Mandatory Qualifications

1. A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a proven track record of shipping complex, production-grade applications.
2. JavaScript/TypeScript: 6+ years of experience, with expert-level proficiency in modern frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Vue.js, Nuxt.js).
3. Python: 5+ years of experience building backend services and scripts.
4. Front-End: 6+ years of experience with advanced CSS and frameworks like TailwindCSS.
5. AWS Cloud Services: 6+ years of deep, hands-on experience designing and managing solutions with DynamoDB, EC2, S3, Lambda, SES, SNS, and ECR.
6. Containers & Microservices: 5+ years of production experience deploying containerized applications with Docker and applying microservice architectures.
7. API Integration: 5+ years of demonstrable experience integrating complex, third-party REST APIs.
8. Database Management: Experience with database schema versioning and data reconciliation strategies for release management.
9. Testing: 5+ years of experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Jest) and a commitment to comprehensive test coverage.
10. Collaboration: Expertise with Git for version control and a minimum of 3 years of experience with design handoff tools like Figma.
