Were partnering with a world-leading quantitative trading firm operating at the forefront of global financial markets. This is an opportunity to join a highly selective, research-driven environment where software engineers sit at the core of the business—building systems that directly drive trading performance.

This team is known for combining deep academic rigor with real-world impact, attracting some of the most talented engineers and researchers globally.

The Opportunity

Youll work on complex, high-performance systems that process vast amounts of real-time data and power trading decisions across global markets. Engineers here operate with real ownership—designing, building, and optimizing systems that are critical to the firms success.

Work spans:

  1. Designing ultra-reliable, low-latency systems
  2. Building scalable infrastructure for real-time data processing
  3. Developing tools and frameworks used by traders and researchers
  4. Solving complex algorithmic and distributed systems problems

This is a deeply technical environment where clean code, strong fundamentals, and intellectual curiosity are valued over specific domain experience.

Who Were Looking For

Were interested in exceptional engineers from both inside and outside of finance.

Typical profile:

  1. Strong academic background (Bachelors, Masters, or PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or similar
  2. Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and systems design
  3. Experience in one or more languages such as C++, Python, Java, Rust, or similar
  4. Track record of solving complex technical problems
  5. Interest in performance, optimization, and system-level thinking

Backgrounds we commonly see:

  1. Top-tier tech companies
  2. Distributed systems / infrastructure engineering
  3. High-performance computing
  4. Academic research (CS, maths, physics)
  5. Competitive programming / strong problem-solving pedigree

No prior finance experience required.

Why Consider This
  1. Work alongside some of the strongest engineers and researchers globally
  2. Highly collaborative, low-ego environment with direct impact on trading outcomes
  3. Exposure to complex, real-time systems at scale
  4. Market-leading compensation (base + bonus)
  5. Relocation support and visa sponsorship available (APAC hubs)
  6. Opportunities for fully remote roles depending on team fit

Location
  1. APAC (Singapore / Hong Kong) with full relocation support
  2. Open to candidates based in the US and Europe

Process

The interview process is rigorous but fair—focused on problem solving, coding, and system design rather than niche domain knowledge.
