Your new company is a Leading International Insurance firm with strong coverage in Asia, Europe and the Americas. They are a top-tier player offering unique insurance and investment products for their client base. As their business strengthens, they are expanding the team with a Business Development Manager with strong experience in Insurance Product Sales, Distribution and Agency/Broker Management to join the team.
Your new role
- Develop and execute business growth strategies for the Life, Health, and Employe Benefits market, aligning product offerings with client needs and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance agents and key insurance brokers, supporting them with product knowledge, underwriting guidance, and sales enablement.
- Identify new business opportunities within the channel to expand distribution reach and increase sales portfolio profitability.
- Coordinate closely with underwriting, product, and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients and ensure a seamless placement process.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with broker partners, analyzing production data and implementing action plans to improve sales results.
- Lead training, workshops, and marketing initiatives to enhance broker engagement and promote product understanding.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience in Business Development, Agency Distribution or Insurance Sales
- Knowledge in Insurance products including Life, Health, Employee Benefits, etc.
- Relevant IIQE qualifications are preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Able to build strong relationships and manage key stakeholders
