They are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to shape technology direction, guide solution design, and support complex transformation initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and engineering execution, ensuring technology solutions are practical, sustainable, and aligned with long‑term objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Technology Architecture Leadership: Own end‑to‑end solution architecture across software, platforms, and infrastructure, ensuring designs are aligned with business priorities and enterprise standards.
- Solution Design & Integration: Translate business and system requirements into architectural designs, supporting new initiatives as well as changes to existing systems. Drive integration efforts to incorporate new components and technologies.
- Platform & Architecture Evolution: Define target platforms and architectural patterns to support evolving user and business needs. Maintain and enhance complex component architectures used across teams.
- Engineering Enablement: Develop reusable architecture guidelines, templates, and solution components to support software and platform engineers in delivery.
- Problem Resolution & Design Assurance: Identify architectural issues early, troubleshoot design gaps, and steer teams toward effective and fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
- Collaboration & Influence: Work across multiple technology and business domains to align architecture decisions with broader roadmaps and strategic outcomes.
- Capability Building & Innovation: Coach and support engineers and architects, introduce new technologies where appropriate, and continuously improve architectural practices within the organization.
- Vendor & Ecosystem Engagement: Assess and collaborate with external vendors and partners to support architectural and delivery objectives.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in solution architecture spanning applications, platforms, and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of modern software architecture, API‑based integration, and platform technologies.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments, including CI/CD and modern delivery practices.
- Ability to align architectural decisions with business strategy and long‑term technology direction.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, particularly in complex and ambiguous environments.
- Effective communicator, able to articulate architectural concepts and trade‑offs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with autonomy and exercising sound judgement.
- Experience guiding or mentoring small to mid‑sized technical teams.
- Exposure to the insurance or financial services domain is an advantage.
