Your new company
A private bank is looking for a specialist in Periodic Review & Source of Wealth with 4-5 years' experience, to support the Private Banking business by performing periodic client reviews and Source of Wealth (SOW) assessments, ensuring client due diligence is completed accurately, timely, and in line with AML/CFT and regulatory requirements.
Your new role
- Conduct periodic reviews of private banking client profiles, including KYC refresh, account data maintenance/ updates, and verification of client information in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Perform Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF) assessments by reviewing client documentation, transaction history, and publicly available information to assess plausibility and consistency.
- Identify and document AML risks and red flags, escalating unusual findings, gaps, or inconsistencies to senior team members for further review and decision-making.
- Coordinate with Relationship Managers and internal stakeholders to obtain required information and supporting documents, ensuring timely completion of review cycles.
- Prepare clear and well-structured review documentation, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready to support internal review, compliance, and regulatory examinations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline
- 5 years of experience in AML/KYC, periodic review and Source of Wealth within private banking or financial institutions
- Basic understanding of AML/CFT regulations and SOW/SOF concepts
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and written documentation ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
