Job Description

  1. Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and budgets. Ensure accuracy of accounting records and compliance with Hong Kong accounting standards.
  2. Assist in maintaining compliance with SFC Type 4 and Type 9 licensing requirements. Support the compliance team in implementing AML, KYC, and risk management procedures.
  3. Provide financial analysis to support investment decisions and portfolio monitoring. Assist in evaluating asset allocation and cross-border investment strategies.
  4. Implement and maintain internal control processes to safeguard company assets. Monitor liquidity and capital adequacy to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  5. Supervise junior finance staff and provide guidance on daily operations. Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulators to ensure smooth financial operations.

Role Requirements

  1. Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines. Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
  2. More than 6 years of finance or audit experience, ideally within investment management or financial services. Familiarity with SFC Type 4 and Type 9 compliance requirements.
  3. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and risk control. Understanding of asset management operations and cross-border investment practices.
  4. HKSI exam completion (e.g., Paper 1 and Paper 9) preferred. Experience supporting Responsible Officers (ROs) in regulatory compliance.
  5. Detail-oriented, reliable, and strong communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
