Join our Finance team in Hong Kong as a Fund Accountant, responsible for day-to-day fund accounting with a focus on profit and loss reconciliation across equity and OTC products. The role works closely with Finance, Operations, Risk, and Trading teams while supporting broader fund accounting activities.
Your Future Role Within QRT:
- Produce and review monthly profit and loss reporting, ensuring accuracy across internal systems and fund administrator records
- Perform detailed P&L reconciliations across equity and OTC products, investigating and resolving breaks in collaboration with Trading, Operations, and Risk teams
- Review NAV calculations produced by fund administrators, validating valuations, investor allocations, and fee calculations
- Maintain oversight of multiple fund structures and legal entities, ensuring accuracy of accounting records and reporting outputs
- Support the preparation and review of annual financial statements and assist with the year-end audit process
- Assist with investor reporting, regulatory filings, and other periodic financial reporting requirements
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of internal reporting processes, controls, and operational efficiency
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Hong Kong, Singapore and London as part of the global Finance function
Your Present Skillset:
- 6 + years experience in Fund Accounting or Audit, suited to those who are nearly or qualified in a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2:1 degree in a STEM, Accounting, Finance, or Economics discipline, with an excellent academic record.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formula-based analysis.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to review, reconcile, and analyse complex financial data accurately.
