Job Summary: The Trading Operations team supports effective day-to-day operation and continuous enhancement of the exchange's trading operations. The role focuses on ensuring market stability, operational resilience, and high service standards through close collaboration with internal stakeholders, market participants, and external vendors.
The successful candidate will work on supporting daily trading operations as well as driving the improvement of operational efficiency with innovation and latest technologies.
Job Duties: Job Responsibilities: - Participate in system UAT, enhancement reviews, analysis, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, resilience, and automation.
- Operate and monitor trading systems and related platforms.
- Update designated sections of the HKEX Market website.
- Maintain and update operational procedures and manuals.
- Handle internal and external inquiries.
- Support data collection and analysis of trading activities.
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in trading operations, market operations, financial institutions, or exchange-related environments. Fresh graduates with strong potential will be considered.
- High attention to detail; able to handle time-critical tasks under pressure.
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with strong communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Automate, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint.
- Proactive, responsible, and committed to operational excellence.
- Team-oriented with strong collaboration mindset.
- Able to adapt quickly to evolving market or operational requirements.
