About the role
We are looking for an experienced institutional sales professional to join a growing Hong Kong-based sales team covering institutional clients across Asia. This role supports senior sales staff while managing your own client relationships, with a focus on expanding beyond equities into multi-asset solutions.
Summary of the role and key responsibilities
- Cover institutional accounts across Asia, mainly covering cash equities in Asia markets including but not limited to China, Japan, Singapore, Korea and other markets in Southeast Asia
- Build and maintain client relationships; identify new prospects
- Support cross-selling initiatives across equities and other asset classes
- Coordinate client events, roadshows, and corporate access
- Work closely with trading, research, and product teams
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in institutional sales, trading, or research support (buy-side or sell-side)
- SFC Type 1 licensed (Type 4 a plus) or willing to obtain
- Strong Excel skills; Bloomberg/Reuters proficiency
- Fluency in English required; Mandarin or Korean a strong advantage
- Genuine interest in digital assets and emerging markets
