On behalf of a leading insurance company, we are seeking an insurance / reinsurance professional with 3 – 7 years experience.
Role:
- Guide the preparation, negotiation, structuring, and optimisation of treaties to maximise company benefits.
- Oversee daily operations including payments, recoveries, claim notifications, data reporting, and special acceptance negotiations.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers and reinsurers, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Assess and underwrite inward risks within delegated authority, ensuring optimal risk management.
- Head daily accounting and reporting operations, collaborating with business partners for smooth transactions.
- Support the Head Office in identifying and seizing fronting opportunities for efficient transactions.
- Provide underwriting and product design suggestions, negotiating support from reinsurance networks.
- Track business volume and performance, offering timely advice and alerts from a reinsurance perspective.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of treaty and facultative reinsurance, including data preparation, negotiation, and structure optimisation.
- Experience in Treaty Reinsurance Facultative Inwards & Outwards is essential.
- Experience managing daily operations in the reinsurance sector. Team leadership experience would be a bonus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Reinsurance Manager or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Knowledge of Business Development and Underwriting.
