Portfolio Manager

You will play a pivotal leadership role within our long‑only equity platform, shaping portfolio strategy and elevating the research process. Leveraging a proven track record of alpha generation, disciplined fundamental analysis, and strong team leadership, you will drive portfolio construction, idea generation, and risk management.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and optimize a discretionary equity portfolio.
2. Lead bottom-up stock selection through deep fundamental research and financial analysis.
3. Generate differentiated investment ideas using fundamental analysis, industry knowledge, and thematic insights.
4. Oversee the research process and ensure clear articulation of thesis, catalysts, and risks.
5. Lead, mentor, and develop analysts or junior PMs to elevate research depth and quality.
6. Foster a culture of analytical rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement.
7. Facilitate investment discussions, sector deep dives, and internal committee presentations.
8. Present portfolio performance, strategy updates, and outlook to senior management and clients.
9. Create clear and compelling presentations on sector trends and positioning.

Qualifications:

1. 8+ years of buy-side equity investing experience, ideally in a long-only asset management environment.
2. Demonstrated alpha generation in Consumer and/or Technology sectors.
3. Proven leadership experience managing analysts or junior PMs.
4. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and sector expertise.
5. Deep understanding of risk frameworks and portfolio construction.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills.
7. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
