We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Developer with strong PL/SQL expertise and hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to join our data engineering team.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL batch jobs, stored procedures, functions, and packages to support enterprise applications and data pipelines.
- Perform performance tuning of SQL queries and PL/SQL code to ensure optimal database performance.
- Support database migration scenarios including on-premises to OCI, and assist in planning and executing migration strategies.
- Leverage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) database services (e.g., Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud Service) and manage networking, security, and identity configurations.
- Build and maintain ETL/data engineering pipelines using SAP Data Services, SQL/PLSQL, and Python to integrate and transform data across systems.
- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement robust data flows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to database performance, data integrity, and job failures.
- Document technical designs, migration plans, and operational procedures.
What You Bring: - Experience: 5+ years of experience in Oracle database development and PL/SQL programming; 2+ years with OCI or other cloud platforms preferred.
- Certifications: Oracle OCI or Database certifications are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams; ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion.
