Job Description As an accountant, your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Handling accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes for the property portfolio.
- Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and preparing required filings.
- Working closely with the wider Accounting & Finance team to streamline processes.
- Collaborating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation during audits.
The Successful Applicant A successful accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Fresh Graduates are open
- Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA (or equivalent) are desirable.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- An analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with the property industry is an advantage.
