IT Project Manager - Prime / Investment Bank / 80k to 100k
I am currently helping our client seeking an IT Project Manager (Prime) to join the team in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full project lifecycle for overseas initiatives related to Securities Borrowing & Lending (SBL) and Margin Finance businesses.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with the business teams to gather, analyze, and document detailed project requirements.
- Conduct requirement analysis, develop product designs, and ensure technical feasibility while maintaining excellent user experience.
- Define clear project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones in alignment with all stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and costs; proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Organize and oversee project development, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure timely and successful business launch.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Finance, or related fields.
- 6-8 years of solid experience in IT project management, ideally within global banks or financial institutions with exposure to regional/cross-border projects.
- Strong familiarity with the business operations and development processes of securities companies.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Deep understanding of both IT systems and financial business logic, particularly in securities financing products.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong learning agility, high sense of responsibility, and excellent stress resilience.
