About Our Client My client is a virtual bank and they are looking to hire a Regulatory Report - Finance Manager to join their team.
Job Description Responsibilities
- Prepare and review HKMA banking returns, regulatory surveys, and Head Office regulatory reports
- Establish and maintain internal control procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of regulatory reporting data
- Analyse and provide guidance on new HKMA and Basel regulatory reporting requirements
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors on matters related to regulatory reporting
- Participate in system enhancement projects, including user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Support departmental and management decision-making through ad hoc assignments and analytical projects
The Successful Applicant A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A strong academic background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA or equivalent are advantageous.
- Regulatory Reporting experience from a bank is a must
- Proven expertise in financial reporting and analysis within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- A detail-oriented approach and the ability to meet tight deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
