Finance -Vice President / Deputy Head of Finance

Responsibilities

1. Supervise the preparation of daily management reports on liquid capital and segregation status for designated licensed companies (commodities, forex and fund management) and non-licensed companies, and monitor compliance with regulatory financial requirements
2. Manage the preparation of monthly financial accounts of designated companies and carry out of daily accounting routines
3. Lead the preparation of financial information for FRR computation and co-ordinate the completion of monthly returns of designated companies licensed under the Securities and Futures Ordinance
4. Supervise the preparation of annual accounts and tax computations of designated companies
5. Liaise with auditors on audit matters and coordinate with IT department on system development
6. Handle inquiries on financial / reporting matters from regulators
7. Perform ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements

1. Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
2. Member of a recognized professional accounting association, such as HKICPA, ACCA
3. Minimum 10 years relevant experience in financial institutions
4. With appropriate experience in handling financial matters prescribed by the Securities and Futures Ordinance and its subsidiary regulations
5. Strong interpersonal skills with logical and analytical mind
6. Familiar with accounting software and MS office applications
7. Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua an advantage
