About the Role
You will be responsible for assessing, pricing, and underwriting Property All Risks, Industrial, and Commercial property risks. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate closely with brokers and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Underwriting and pricing new and renewal property risks based on underwriting guidelines
- Conducting detailed risk assessments and reviewing engineering reports
- Building and managing strong relationships with brokers and intermediaries
- Supporting portfolio strategy and identifying growth opportunities
- Working closely with risk engineers, actuarial teams, and regional counterparts
- Ensuring high-quality underwriting standards and compliance
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of Property underwriting experience (Commercial, Industrial, Corporate)
- Strong analytical and risk assessment abilities
- Proactive communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Regional market experience is an advantage
- ACII / ANZIIF qualifications a plus
- Candidates with significantly more experience will be considered for senior roles
