Our client is a global private equity fund house with a strong international footprint and a long‑established presence in the market. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to hire a Compliance Officer to join their experienced and well‑respected compliance team.
The Role
- Assist in designing and maintaining compliance policies and controls across VC/PE, fund management, and cross‑border investments
- Monitor fund trading, personal account dealing, and restricted lists
- Oversee expert network calls, chaperoning, NDA reviews, and ethical wall controls
- Provide compliance advice and training to investment, operations, and portfolio teams
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions (HK SFC, SEC, MAS, CIMA, etc.)
- Partner with internal teams and external advisors on compliance matters
- Support investigations, incident management, and regulatory inquiries
- Contribute to ongoing monitoring, testing, and reporting to senior management
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree; LLB / law background preferred
- 4-7 years' compliance experience within VC, PE, asset management, or financial services
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory requirements (Type 9); regional/global exposure a plus
- Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to operate in a fast‑paced environment
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
