About the Company A leading global asset management firm with a strong presence across Asia is looking to hire an ETF Investment Analyst to join its investment research team in Hong Kong. The firm manages a broad range of ETF and public fund products and is well known for its expertise in passive and index-based investment strategies.
The Role This is ahands-on macro research and client-facing role . You will conduct in-depth investment research, develop ETF allocation recommendations across different market environments, and present your views directly to clients through roadshows and presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fundamental and/or quantitative research and analysis to support ETF investment decisions
- Provide ETF allocation recommendations based on prevailing market conditions, drawing on knowledge of ETFs, public mutual fund products, and broader asset allocation principles
- Present investment viewpoints and recommendations to clients through roadshows, seminars, and regular client engagements
- Communicate research findings clearly to both internal stakeholders and external clients
- Record video content providing updates on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes relevant to ETF performance
- Build client-friendly presentation materials grounded in thorough research and analysis
- Utilize financial data sources and analytical tools to develop compelling investment cases for various ETFs
What We Are Looking For - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in investment research, asset allocation, or investment advisory
- Solid understanding of ETFs and public mutual fund products
- Experience in investment advisory, investment consultation, portfolio construction, or asset allocation is highly valued
- Candidates with backgrounds in investment consulting or economics are also encouraged to apply
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable recommendations
- Confident presenter with strong client-facing skills; comfortable delivering investment views to large audiences
- Proficiency with financial research tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese or Mandarin
- CFA charterholder or similar professional designation preferred
- Self-motivated with a genuine interest in emerging investment trends and themes
