About your team Fidelity is seeking to expand and grow its business by establishing and growing the ETF capability. You will be responsible for supporting the overall distribution of ETFs in APAC (ex-Japan). The ETFs in scope include both Fidelity International and Fidelity Investments ETFs as Fidelity International supports the marketing of the Fidelity Investments ETFs in the region.
About your role As an integral member of the Sales team, the ETF specialist team works in collaboration with generalist sales to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the ETF sales plans. You will drive net sales for Fidelity's ETF product range (both Fidelity International and Fidelity Investments' ETFs) in the Asia Pacific region focusing on Singapore, Hong-Kong, Thailand, South Korea and Taiwan. You will work with the ETF Product Strategist based in Hong Kong and represent Fidelity Investments ETFs. Collaboration with Fidelity International sales teams and Fidelity Investments product teams will be key to your role.
You will take on a central role in building out our product positioning, market and competitor intelligence as well as our marketing approach and distribution strategy. The role requires a unique skill set that encompasses market/macro knowledge, product and portfolio implementation capabilities, and the ability to deliver ETF solutions to end-clients across various client segments and jurisdictions.
The role includes preparing, executing and following up on client queries, sales meetings and client event related tasks. It includes taking care of client service, but also maintaining and keeping our global CRM system (Salesforce) up to date.
About you - In-depth knowledge on the asset management distribution landscape, client segments and market trends
- Significant experience in and understanding of the ETF business and willingness to proactively expand expertise
- Track record in delivery against commercial sales and revenue targets
- Proven ability to be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a hands-on mentality
- Proven experience to lead highly complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to build successful external and internal relationships and manage stakeholders up to board level
- Portfolio construction experience to deliver solutions to clients using ETFs as building blocks.
- ETF sales experience across private banks and/or institutional clients in the region.
- Degree level education is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Chinese language(Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is an asset for the role
