About the Role
- The Summer Intern will support the Investment Services team in developing and enhancing automated and Copilot-enabled reporting solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of management and regulatory reports.
- The role aims to provide hands-on exposure to investment operations, data handling and process automation, with a particular focus on practical user of Microsoft Copilot to streamline reporting workflows, documentation and analytical tasks in a controlled business environment.

Internship Period: 15 June 2026 - 31 August 2026

The purpose of our internship is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.

What you will learn and contribute:

Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Investment Services Department, you may be involved in
  • Assist in analyzing existing investment reporting processes and identifying opportunities for automation.
  • Support the design, development, and testing of automated reporting tools (e.g. using Excel, VBA, Python, Power BI, or similar tools).
  • Prepare prototype dashboards, automated templates, or scripts for recurring reports.
  • Document processes, automation logic, and user guidelines for future reference.
  • Comply with internal controls, data confidentiality, and information security policies.
What you will need:
  • University students (or above) major in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of data analysis or programming tools (e.g. Python, SQL) is preferred but not mandatory
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables; VBA is a plus).
  • Exposure to or interest in using AI especially Microsoft Copilot for reporting, data analysis, or documentation is highly preferred.
  • Strong interest in process automation, data analytics, or reporting systems and AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with data.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, data protection and responsible use of AI tools.
