About Our Client Our client is the third largest bank in the Netherlands and they are now opening an exciting role of Trade Operations/ Settlement Officer to handle daily processes, settlements and services for equity and ETF products and to manage and monitor cash and position reconciliation reports. The bank is among the oldest foreign banks in Asia and Hong Kong and it has international network across 23 countries. It provides standard and structured banking services to global clients in different sectors.
Job Description - Responsible for handling daily processes, settlements and services for equity and ETF products
- Handle early option exercises, derivatives expiration, corporate actions, ETF processing and funding forecasting etc.
- Assist the team in managing and monitoring the quality of cash and position reconciliation reports for exchanges, affiliates, and broker trades
- Collaborate with relevant parties to resolve breaks and exceptions and identify root causes for any issues
The Successful Applicant - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics or relevant discipline
- 2 years of working experience in operations, settlement, reconciliation with exposure in CCASS/ DCASS within banks, FI firms, securities firms or clearing house
- Strong product knowledge in equity/ ETF products
- Highly reliable, strong accuracy and strong analytical skills
- Strong in MS Office application especially in Excel
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
