KYC - Account opening team

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Relationship Managers to onboard clients, open new accounts, and manage the client account lifecycle (opening, review/recertification, closure).
• Ensure compliance with AML/KYC standards and regulatory requirements during onboarding and reviews.
• Conduct due diligence checks, corroborate KYC information, and escalate red flags promptly.
• Oversee end-to-end account processes efficiently while engaging stakeholders like Compliance and Client Management.
• Address client inquiries professionally and assist in organizing client meetings for account-related matters.
• Prepare high-quality documentation and maintain accurate contact reports.
• Provide feedback to improve processes and support management reporting for control enhancements.
• Implement operational permanent control policies and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or professional qualification with 2-5 years of relevant experience in Private Banking (PB) or Wealth Management (WM) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of account documentation, due diligence processes, AML requirements, and WM products.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese (spoken, written, reading); Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Familiarity with Wealth Management operations; detail-oriented with good report writing skills.
• Excellent communication skills with strong technical abilities and awareness of operational risks.
