The Role A leading financial services organization is seeking a highly experienced
Technical Project Manager with deep expertise in
network engineering and architecture to deliver complex infrastructure initiatives.
This is a
senior individual contributor role, suited to someone who can independently drive end-to-end delivery across data centre, office, and large-scale network transformation projects. You will work closely with internal technology teams and external vendors, taking ownership of execution while ensuring technical quality and governance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery - Lead end-to-end delivery of network-focused infrastructure projects from planning through execution, testing, and cutover
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, risk registers, timelines, and reporting
- Proactively drive milestones, manage dependencies, and resolve blockers
Technical Leadership - Review, challenge, and validate network designs, configurations, and architecture proposals
- Provide expert input across data centre, office, and cloud network environments
- Partner with server, storage, data centre, real estate, and facilities teams to ensure cohesive delivery
Stakeholder & Vendor Management - Manage third-party vendors to ensure quality, timelines, and adherence to technical standards
- Engage and influence senior internal stakeholders across infrastructure, operations, and security
- Lead project meetings and provide clear status updates to management
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in network engineering, network architecture, or related infrastructure roles
- Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or network transformation projects
- Strong technical knowledge across routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, and data centre networking
- Financial services or other mission-critical environments experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional stakeholder, vendor management, and communication skills
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are highly desirable
- Self-driven, autonomous, and comfortable operating with minimal supervision
