Job title: Business Associate — Distressed Assets

Location: Central, Hong Kong

Key responsibilities:

1. Support management and disposal of existing distressed asset projects.
2. Participate in client marketing and project origination for cross-border and Hong Kong/overseas distressed asset deals.
3. Assist in corporate restructuring, M&A, USD bond risk resolution, and other asset recovery strategies.
4. Perform due diligence, help structure deals, and support transaction execution.
5. Assist post-investment monitoring, performance tracking, and asset disposition.

Requirements:

1. ≤6 years working experience; preferably with at least 3 years at a Big Four accounting firm or experience in banking/asset-management related roles.
2. Strong analytical, financial modelling, and due-diligence skills.
3. Good commercial judgment, negotiation and communication skills.
4. Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) as required; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with valuation tools and legal/document review preferred.
