Global Corporates Banking - Relationship Manager (AVP/VP)
Overview: A reputable bank is currently hiring for an experienced Global Banking Relationship Manager with both local and China corporates coverage experience to join our team to manage and expand the portfolio of Large Corporates.
Your New Role: - Strengthen client relationships and drive income growth through targeted business development initiatives.
- Manage and expand coverage of Local Corporates, SOE and POE client portfolios.
- Negotiate and structure credit facilities, and prepare timely, high-quality credit proposals (new and reviews) in compliance with credit and lending policies, ensuring alignment with clients' needs through a deep understanding of their businesses, financing requirements, and market conditions.
- Enhance loan portfolio quality by conducting thorough credit assessments, monitoring credit risks and customer credit standing, and taking prompt, appropriate actions to maintain asset quality.
- Promote and sell non-lending banking products to maximize profitability.
What you'll need to succeed: - Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Banking, Finance, or a related discipline; other relevant qualifications considered.
- Proven experience as a coverage banker with a successful track record in managing relationships with HK Mid-Caps, and China Corporates.
- Strong credit analysis skills and in-depth knowledge of commercial banking products.
- Demonstrated growth mindset with the ability to lead strategic transformation, drive innovation, and adapt to an agile environment.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese
