Senior Equity Analyst (Long‑Only Equities)

You will be a crucial member of a long‑only equity investment team, with meaningful ownership and accountability across idea generation, portfolio outcomes, and research standards. Working closely with the portfolio leadership, you will help shape portfolio strategy, stock selection, and risk discipline, while actively contributing to a high‑conviction, fundamentally driven investment process.

This role is well‑suited for a senior analyst or emerging PM who is seeking greater responsibility, investment ownership, and a clear long‑term growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:

1. Take meaningful ownership in the management and optimization of a discretionary long‑only equity portfolio
2. Lead bottom‑up stock selection through deep fundamental research, financial modeling, and valuation work
3. Generate differentiated investment ideas using company‑level analysis, industry insights, and thematic research
4. Develop and clearly articulate investment theses, including key value drivers, catalysts, downside risks, and exit frameworks
5. Actively participate in portfolio construction, position sizing, and risk management discussions
6. Maintain high standards of analytical rigor, intellectual honesty, and accountability
7. Mentor and support junior analysts where applicable to enhance overall research quality
8. Contribute to investment discussions, sector deep dives, and internal investment committee meetings
9. Present investment recommendations, portfolio performance, and sector outlooks to senior stakeholders
10. Prepare clear and compelling materials on sector trends, investment positioning, and portfolio rationale

Qualifications:

1. Over 3 years of buy‑side equity investing experience, preferably within a long‑only, fundamental platform
2. Global market exposure strongly preferred, ideally in Technology and/or Consumer sectors
3. Demonstrated ability to generate alpha through disciplined fundamental analysis
4. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and company‑level research skills
5. Solid understanding of portfolio construction principles and risk management
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills
7. Fluent in English; Mandarin and/or Cantonese
