Your new company Join our Hong Kong-based Securities Settlement team, a critical function supporting global Business Units in the smooth and timely settlement of transactions. This team plays a key role across Equities and Fixed Income products, with a strong focus on the Hong Kong market and major Connect Schemes such as China Stock Connect and Bond Connect. Your new role - Manage equity and fixed income settlements across Hong Kong equities, China A-Share Connect, CMU, and Bond Connect markets
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve settlement exceptions and breaks
- Perform reconciliations to ensure internal books and records align with external banks and central depositories
- Communicate with counterparties, including brokers and custodians, to resolve settlement issues efficiently
- Handle physical certificate deposit and withdrawal requests
- Process ADR conversions, cross-board conversions, and related activities
- Support IPO syndicate deals, EIPO subscriptions, and associated settlement processes
- Participate in and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed - Bachelor's degree
- Approximately 2 years of experience in securities operations, settlements, or a related field
- Self-motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership and drive
- Product and operational knowledge or experience in Hong Kong cash equities is preferred
- Strong risk awareness, with the ability to identify issues, challenge processes, and escalate appropriately
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, external counterparties, exchanges, and senior management
