We are seeking a talented Portfolio Manager for one of our most sizeable in-house financial clients.
Your new role
- Define project objectives, scope, and constraints, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain project roadmaps, schedules, and task plans using tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks, including decision-making authority and escalation paths
- Deliver clear, data-driven progress reports in line with organisational standards.
- Manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment across work streams and dependencies.
- Identify, track, and escalate risks and issues (RAID) to support timely resolution.
- Plan and manage resources, including forecasting needs, tracking utilisation, and controlling costs.
What you'll need to succeed
- 7+ years of experience managing large-scale, high-value projects or programs.
- Strong experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Solid understanding of project governance frameworks and performance reporting.
- Proficiency in Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PfMP, PRINCE2, or Agile preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Jira, Microsoft Project, and MS Office Suite.
