Director – Taiwan Sales (Hong Kong)

Overview

A leading global market-making and liquidity provider is seeking a Senior Taiwan Credit Sales professional to join its Hong Kong platform. This role will focus on developing and expanding relationships with Taiwan-based institutional clients across credit products.

You will work closely with senior leadership in FICC sales and relationship management, leveraging a highly sophisticated trading and liquidity platform to deliver differentiated solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead coverage of Taiwan-based institutional clients , including life insurance companies, banks, securities firms, and asset managers
  2. Drive credit flow business and p artner with trading to deliver tailored solutions across credit, rates, and macro products (including FX where relevant)
  3. Expand wallet share through strategic relationship development and proactive idea generation
  4. Act as a trusted advisor to clients on market opportunities, portfolio positioning, and liquidity solutions
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across trading, structuring, and risk to optimize client outcomes
  6. Monitor market developments and identify opportunities within Taiwan credit markets

Requirements
  1. 8–15 years of experience in fixed income / credit sales , with a strong focus on Taiwan clients
  2. Proven track record covering Taiwan institutional accounts (lifers, banks, investment trusts, securities firms)
  3. Strong product knowledge across credit (IG/HY), rates, and macro solutions
  4. Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and build long-term client relationships
  5. Familiarity with cross-border flows and Taiwan regulatory landscape
  6. Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English (essential)
  7. Experience working in a global investment bank or leading market-making platform preferred

Reporting Line

The role reports into a senior FICC Sales & Relationship Management leader in Hong Kong , with extensive experience across top-tier global investment banks and a strong track record of building high-performing sales franchises in Asia.
