Our client, a reputable Global Financial Institution, is looking for a high caliber to join the middle office team to support projects and process automation initiatives to cope with the business expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the processing of trades and liaises with internal departments and external counterparties to resolve trade and settlement discrepancies and processing of corporate actions.
- Manage projects/initiatives involving the development and implementation of business solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall operational performance
- Prioritize, structure, and plan team goals
- Lead process improvement initiatives; drive strategic development projects
- Communicate with appropriate internal teams, prime broker and counterparty teams to resolve open issues or questions
Requirement:
- University graduated in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience within middle office and proven project management experience
- Experience with various instrument types including equity, fixed income and derivatives markets and demonstrated knowledge of security terms and conditions relative to each asset type
- Demonstrated project management experience with a focus on process improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced environment with a proven track record in managing a diverse range of tasks efficiently
- Strong experience in using VBA, SQL, and Python is perquisite
