Job Description As an Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing portfolio accounting activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Preparing and maintaining financial statements and reports for alternative investments.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assisting in the preparation of audit and tax documents.
- Monitoring and reconciling investment transactions and valuations.
- Supporting the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
- Providing insights and analysis on portfolio performance and trends.
- Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function.
The Successful Applicant A successful Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and portfolio accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Great attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
