About Our Client Our client is a well-known Investment Bank. Currently, they are looking to hire an Operations Analyst/Associate to support daily banking operations process, regulatory controls and AML screening.
Product exposure in Loans and Deposit is preferred.
Job Description - Support daily Banking Operations activities, including processing banking products, regulatory controls, and AML screening.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports for Hong Kong, Singapore, and the U.S., as well as produce internal management reports.
- Perform Callback Verification (CBV) to safeguard clients against fraud, including preparing, validating, and enhancing CBV controls.
- Collaborate with front office, external counterparties, and global operations teams to resolve queries and operational issues.
- Identify process gaps, assess operational risks, and escalate issues promptly with strong ownership and urgency.
- Partner with Technology/Project teams to automate workflows, remediate system gaps, and conduct relevant testing.
- Drive process improvement and transformation initiatives using tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, UiPath, and AI.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and compliance across all operational activities.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively, meet tight deadlines, and handle time-sensitive situations with professionalism.
The Successful Applicant - At least 2+ years of experience in financial services, ideally in banking operations, regulatory reporting, middle office, or process automation. Experience in trade support is a plus.
- Practical experience with Power BI, Alteryx, UiPath, and AI tools to automate processes and strengthen controls.
- Ability to produce accurate and timely regulatory and management reports.
- Experience coordinating with Technology/Project teams on automation, system enhancements, and testing.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
