Job Description Main responsibilities will include
- Support the Head of Treasury in promoting and delivering the Bank's full suite of Treasury products to clients
- Act as an Executive Officer (EO) under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO) for Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 4 (Advising on Securities) regulated activities, with a strong focus on derivatives including Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDF), Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), and Cross-Currency Swaps (CCS)
- Perform market analysis and customer research to design and recommend tailored Treasury solutions that address clients' market and risk management needs
- Oversee derivatives products (NDF, IRS, CCS) across the full product lifecycle, including term sheets, confirmations, disclosures, and product due diligence and risk assessments
- Monitor clients' outstanding Treasury positions and credit exposure; execute margin calls, revaluations, and collateral monitoring in collaboration with collateral management teams
- Lead and develop the Treasury sales team, ensuring strong internal controls, effective risk management, and full regulatory compliance in accordance with the Bank's risk governance framework
- Structure, price, and manage derivatives transactions, coordinating closely with internal stakeholders for sales execution, booking, documentation, and related processes
- Represent the Bank at client meetings, sales activities, and roadshows; develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
The Successful Applicant Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, preferably in Treasury or derivatives sales
- Qualified or eligible to be licensed as an Executive Officer for SFO Type 1 and Type 4 regulated activities
- In-depth knowledge of derivatives products with a proven sales track record
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua
