About your team

You will be based in Hong Kong, joining the Global Governance and Intragroup Outsourcing team (part of AMD Business Management). The team provides central support to GPS and ISS business areas, working closely with senior leadership including Country Heads, business and functional leads, and legal entity boards. Together, we facilitate business governance meetings and drive operational excellence in APAC governance structures across markets, functions, and regulatory frameworks

About your role

As Business Manager, you will play a central role in providing operational and business management support while ensuring effective governance across the APAC business. You will:
  • Organise and manage governance meetings.
  • Oversee meeting documentation and reporting.
  • Provide essential regulatory and oversight support.
  • Facilitate the governance of intercompany arrangements.

Working closely with Country Heads and senior stakeholders, you will streamline governance structures, reduce duplication, and support regional and global initiatives such as major committees. This role makes a tangible impact by enabling efficient decision-making, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring stakeholders receive the right information at the right time.

About you

You will bring proven experience in business management, operations, or governance within financial services, with strong understanding of business processes and controls. You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to problem-solve effectively. You will also have experience of:

  • Managing committees, regulatory submissions, and reporting frameworks.
  • Influencing and collaborating with global stakeholders under pressure.
  • Using PowerBI, SharePoint, Teams, and the Microsoft Office suite.

A self-driven and client-centric mindset, coupled with the ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively, will help you thrive in this role.

Key responsibilities
  • Organise, facilitate, and document key governance meetings across APAC.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance operational excellence in governance structures.
  • Support senior managers in fulfilling governance and regulatory responsibilities.
  • Provide accurate MI reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Deliver general business management support to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective governance and oversight of intercompany arrangements.
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships and foster a culture of openness and collaboration.

Experience and Qualifications Required
  • Proven experience in business management, operations, or governance within financial services, with a strong understanding of business processes and controls.
  • Demonstrable track record managing committees, regulatory submissions, and reporting frameworks.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, high attention to detail, and sound problem-solving ability.
  • Confident working with and influencing senior/global stakeholders, including under time pressure.
  • Proficient with Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Office.
  • Hands-on, self-driven, client-centred, and curious to learn.
  • Able to manage competing priorities, maintain oversight, and work both independently and collaboratively.
