About the Role

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for a strong analytics professional who can translate business questions into actionable insights, develop analytical solutions, and support the adoption of data and analytics capabilities across the agency distribution. This role will also contribute to the development of innovative agentic AI use cases that improve decision-making, agency productivity, operational efficiency, and user experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyse agency behaviour and production data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights that support business growth and productivity improvement.
  • Develop advanced analytical models to support areas such as performance management, retention, lead conversion, and business planning.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to embed analytics into agency management strategies and act as a trusted analytics SME to leadership by providing data-backed recommendations with measurable business impact.
  • Design and deliver dashboards and reports to support timely performance monitoring and decision-making.
  • Prepare clear and compelling presentations to communicate analysis, insights, recommendations, and project progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Support data enrichment initiatives by integrating internal and external data sources to strengthen analysis, targeting, and opportunity assessment.
  • Lead the design, implementation, rollout, tracking, change management, and ongoing enhancement of GenAI-enabled solutions that improve business processes, user productivity, and decision support.
  • Lead and mentor a small group of junior data scientists or project-based resources on designated initiatives and ensure delivery is completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Ensure all analytics activities comply with Insurance Authority regulatory requirements, data privacy laws, and internal governance standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Actuarial Science, Econometrics, or a related quantitative discipline. A PhD would be an advantage.
  • 8+ years of practical experience in data analytics, data science, or related roles, preferably in insurance, financial services, and/or consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance agency operations, distribution models, and productivity drivers.
  • Hands-on proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar analytics and visualization platforms.
  • Familiarity with cutting-edge agentic AI and automation tools and their application in enterprise environments, with the ability to support experimentation, implementation, and value realization in practical settings.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work independently as a senior-level individual contributor.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement data enrichment strategies for agency or customer databases.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders through data-driven insights.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements in insurance data management and analytics.
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts or leading workstreams within cross-functional projects.
  • Candidate with less experience may be considered for the Consultant position.
