You will manage complex billing cycles and provide strategic financial support to high-profile legal teams within a high-performance, international environment.
Responsibilities
Execute the end-to-end billing and collection lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of complex, high-value client accounts.
Partner directly with Partners and Client Service Lawyers to drive timely execution of billing responsibilities and realization rates.
Facilitate the implementation and annual review of diverse Alternative Fee Arrangements (AFAs) and volume discount thresholds.
Audit all time and expense entries to guarantee strict adherence to intricate Outside Counsel Guidelines and firm policies.
Manage the end-to-end electronic billing process, including troubleshooting submission rejections and coordinating with global e-billing teams.
Analyze the client pipeline and accounts receivable to provide strategic commentary, variance reports, and aging mitigation strategies.
Maintain expertise in firm billing systems to ensure seamless financial operations and the delivery of high-quality work products.
Requirements
Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of professional billing experience within a law firm or professional services organization.
Exceptional proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience with Practice Management Systems such as Elite (3E) or Aderant is highly desirable.
Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize high-volume tasks and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with legal stakeholders at all levels.
