Salary: Negotiable

Our client is a leading international financial services and insurance group with a strong presence across Asia and global operations worldwide.

They are currently seeking a Regional Workflow Automation Lead (Insurance Operation Excellence) to lead a regional Operations‑led automation portfolio. This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining strategy, prioritising demand, and delivering scalable Power Automate solutions that drive operational efficiency, risk control, and measurable business outcomes across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Led a regional Operations‑owned Power Automate automation portfolio, with end‑to‑end accountability from demand intake and prioritisation through delivery, adoption, and benefits realisation.
  • Directed a multi‑market Operations automation squad, governing capacity, delivery sequencing, and solution throughput across multiple business functions.
  • Defined automation strategy and roadmaps focused on operational efficiency, risk control, scalability, and cross‑market reuse, rather than local optimisation.
  • Oversaw the full solution lifecycle including solution design, build coordination, UAT, deployment, and post‑implementation stabilisation.
  • Partnered closely with senior Operations leaders (e.g. Claims, Servicing, Underwriting Operations, Contact Centres, Policy Administration) to identify high‑impact automation opportunities and influence prioritisation decisions.
  • Acted as the primary Operations interface to Technology teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, data privacy, and Power Platform governance standards.
  • Provided hands‑on technical leadership and direction on Microsoft Power Automate, including flow orchestration, ALM practices, environment strategy, and reuse of shared components.
  • Established automation governance, standards, and guardrails to minimise technical debt and support sustainable Operations‑led delivery at scale.
  • Tracked solution adoption and operational benefits, ensuring clear ownership and measurable outcomes within Operations.
  • Mentored and developed Operations automation talent, building a sustainable regional capability and delivery model.

Key Requirements / Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience across Operations, Automation, Technology, or Transformation within regulated enterprise environments, ideally financial services or insurance.
  • Proven director‑level experience leading regional or enterprise‑scale automation initiatives with accountability for outcomes rather than task execution.
  • Strong hands‑on and governance experience with Microsoft Power Automate; broader Power Platform exposure is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and prioritising automation or solution portfolios across multiple markets or business units.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise governance, security, risk, and compliance requirements for Operations‑led technology delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders across geographies.
  • Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear operational value for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in multi‑market / regional operating models with competing priorities and dependencies.

Our client offers competitive compensation and benefits, as well as a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
