Investment Analyst

About the Firm:

Our client is a fast-growing, Asia-focused private equity real estate investment firm with a strong track record across key markets in the region. The team combines deep local expertise with a disciplined investment approach, targeting value-add and opportunistic real estate opportunities.

The Role:

The client are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join their lean, high-performing team. You will play a key role across the full investment lifecycle — from deal sourcing and underwriting to execution and asset management support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain complex financial models (Excel / ARGUS) to evaluate potential real estate investments
2. Conduct market research, due diligence, and risk analysis across target sectors (e.g., living, logistics, office, retail)
3. Prepare investment committee memos and presentation materials
4. Support deal execution, including transaction structuring and legal/documentation coordination
5. Assist in asset management initiatives to drive value creation post-acquisition

Qualifications:

1. 2–3 years of relevant experience from a top-tier investment bank (M&A or Real Estate coverage), private equity real estate firm, or direct investment background
2. Strong transaction experience in M&A, leveraged buyouts, or real estate principal investments
3. Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills; ARGUS knowledge is a plus
4. Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
5. Fluency in English required; Mandarin or other Asian language skills are a strong plus
