Seeking a SRM to drive trade finance and bilateral lending for a portfolio of MME. Strong focus on new client acquisition, club loans and property financing.
The Role
- Manage and enhance a diversified portfolio of corporate and commercial clients, focusing on the development of quality trade finance business and other financial products in line with the Bank's overall strategy and vision. Connections with HK local corporates or China POEs will be a plus.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients by providing tailored financial solutions in corporate lending and trade finance.
- Participate in the origination and structuring of bilateral and club loans where required.
- Prepare credit proposals and conduct regular credit reviews for assigned clients.
- Customize comprehensive financial solutions, including working capital facilities and other banking products, to meet the specific needs of corporate clients.
- The Team manages a diversified clientele base covering property investment and development, garment manufacturing, trading, wholesaling, equity investment, and various operating businesses. This includes medium-sized enterprises (MME), corporates, and listed companies. The portfolio also includes property investment and development clients in common law jurisdictions
- The Team serves as an incubator for high-performing Relationship Managers. Candidates who demonstrate strong business results and management capabilities will have the opportunity to spin off as a new Team Head within a few years
Your Profile
- Degree or above in Banking, Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Commercial or Corporate Banking, with a solid track record in trade finance, corporate lending, club loans, and asset-based finance.
- Holder of professional certificates under ECF / QF or issued by recognized industry institutes / professional bodies is a definite advantage.
- Proven ability in new client acquisition and business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is essential.
- Immediate availability is a plus.
