Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibility
- Assist the Team Head to supervise and guide the subordinates to ensure smooth running of the daily operation
- Perform fund valuation and net asset value reconciliation review
- Check general ledger and transaction input
- Liaise with auditor on Fund audit work
- Check to ensure subscription and redemption records are properly updated in the system
- Handle enquiries from fund manager in an efficient manner
- Check to ensure stock and cash reconciliation and ensure fees and expenses are properly accrued
- Adhere to the operating procedures, and comply with company requirements, regulatory requirements (e.g. HKMA, MAS, etc) and Audit / Risk Management guidelines pertaining to the operations
- Report any suspicious / outstanding transaction or incident to Team Head, Department Head and other relevant parties for necessary action per the Incident Management Policy
- Participate in user acceptance test and live verification for system enhancements. Review business requirements and functional specifications. Prepare test cases and conduct testing
- Participate in project initiatives and business development, e.g. customer implementation, business continuity management, review of operational procedures, policies and guidelines; specific and job related training, etc.
- Handle regular and ad hoc tasks as designed by Team Head and Department Head
Requirement
- University Graduate or above in Business or related disciplines
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in Fund Administration
- Sound experience of banking operation and practices
- Good understanding and exposure of securities service/custody and/or fund administration is required
- Scrum master, PMP and other relevant certification will be an advantage
- Be familiar with the market trend and new product / system development of local and foreign securities market and fund administration

- Good team player, supportive and flexible to take up departmental tasks
- Excellent communication skills and command in English and Chinese (both spoken & written)
- Good presentation skills and knowledge in MS Office
