Alipay+ Payment Solution is a key department responsible for driving strategic partnership and payment innovation. We work at the intersection of business, product, and technology to deliver integrated payment solutions that connect global merchants, payment networks, digital wallets, and end users.
We are a versatile team made up of individuals with varied experiences and backgrounds - from financial institutions to business development - motivated by the challenge of finding solutions that empower the future of payments.
- Partner with external and internal stakeholders to drive strategic partnership projects with global payment and tech companies to completion, including commercial opportunities and complex product, technology and/or operational mandates;
- Quickly learn relevant content, participate in strategic partnership discussions and negotiations, and contribute to current state analysis and future state design;
- Engage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, simplify complex topics and create innovative solutions to solve problems across internal and external stakeholders;
- Serve as the partnership subject matter expert throughout the execution lifecycle, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to translate partnership agreements into business outcomes;
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics of launched partnerships and projects to track progress, identify trends, and recommend strategic adjustments;
- Craft and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and partnership materials to internal and external stakeholders;
- Stay current on global payment technology trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments impacting the payment and FinTech industry in Asia Pacific.
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree or above from top universities, with an outstanding academic record;
3-5 years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, product management, or business development, within payments, financial services, fintech or related industries;
Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to break down complex problems, simplify complex topics, and derive actionable insights;
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a matrix environment and navigate complex organizations;
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English collaboration with international and China team; with ability to articulate insights and strategy to key stakeholders;
Results-driven with strong work ethics, attention to detail, and ownership mentality;
Fast learner who is highly self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment;
